When we are asked to carry out a special project, often for very demanding customers, we take pictures and log all the various phases of the entire job in order to have a trace of the work carried out. In this way, we have a method to follow for similar jobs in the future, without having to start all over again.
An example of this kind of work is without doubt the piece of contemporary art, shown above, consisting of 23 white plastic poles coloured in various pastel colours. This is a 1970s art installation, which had lost its sparkle through the years and which needed to be freshened up a little.
The job was, in tis case, a complicated one, because of countless masking and subsequent painting phases needed to maintain the colours as they were in the original work.
In the following pictures some of the phases of spray-painting and the installation of the finished job at the customer’s home.
